By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking, purchasing an experience or participating in any service offered through Rebel Magick, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Rebel Magick offers retreats, private experiences and services that may relate to intimacy, tantra, bodywork, embodiment, massage, connection, personal development and related practices.

The Rebel Magick website, retreats, private experiences and associated services are intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

By submitting an enquiry, purchasing an experience or making a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

ABOUT REBEL MAGICK

Rebel Magick provides retreats, private experiences and complementary services designed around relaxation, connection, embodiment, intimacy, personal exploration and related practices.

Experiences may be offered for women, couples or private clients and may vary in structure, duration, location, inclusions and availability.

Rebel Magick is not a public practitioner directory or practitioner-booking platform.

Any person engaged to assist with or provide a particular service as part of a Rebel Magick retreat or experience may do so specifically in connection with that experience. Their involvement does not mean that they are independently available for booking through the Rebel Magick website unless expressly stated.

RETREATS AND PRIVATE EXPERIENCES

Rebel Magick may offer a range of retreats and private experiences, including experiences designed for women, couples and individual private clients.

Each retreat or experience may have its own inclusions, duration, location, accommodation arrangements, activities, optional services, price and booking requirements.

The information provided on the relevant website page, product page, booking communication or confirmation will form part of the applicable booking arrangements.

Where there is a material difference between general information contained in these Terms and specific written information supplied for a particular retreat or experience, the specific booking information will apply to that booking to the extent permitted by law.

ADDITIONAL RETREAT SERVICES AND EXPERIENCES

Rebel Magick may make additional services and experiences available to clients participating in a retreat or private experience.

These may include, depending on the particular offering and availability, massage, bodywork, tantra-based experiences, connection experiences, embodiment work, healing sessions, personal support and other complementary services.

Additional services may be included in a package or offered as optional additions at an additional cost.

Not every service will be available at every retreat, location or date.

Some additional services may require a conversation, suitability assessment or prior approval before they can be confirmed.

Certain specialised experiences may be offered by invitation or only where Rebel Magick considers the service appropriate for the individual circumstances.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Some retreats, experiences or additional services may involve suitably selected independent practitioners, therapists, facilitators or other service providers engaged or arranged by Rebel Magick.

These people are not presented through Rebel Magick as a publicly bookable practitioner collective.

Where an independent service provider delivers a specialised professional service, that provider remains responsible for the professional service they personally provide, subject to applicable law.

Rebel Magick remains responsible for any obligations that apply to it and which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or transferred.

Where reasonably necessary to arrange or deliver a booked service, relevant booking information may be provided to the person delivering that service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

BOOKINGS, DATES AND AVAILABILITY

Retreats and private experiences may be purchased, reserved or enquired about through the Rebel Magick website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a retreat, package or private experience through the website does not by itself guarantee a particular date.

Where dates are to be arranged manually, Rebel Magick will communicate with you after your purchase or enquiry to discuss suitable availability.

A particular date, time or location is confirmed only when Rebel Magick has confirmed the arrangement with you.

Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until your retreat or experience dates have been confirmed.

All bookings remain subject to availability.

Where we are unable to accommodate a requested date, we may work with you to identify an alternative suitable date or another appropriate solution.

BOOKING INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a booking or enquiry.

You should advise Rebel Magick of information reasonably relevant to your participation, including accessibility requirements, allergies, physical limitations or other circumstances that may affect the suitability or safe delivery of an experience.

You are also responsible for ensuring that your contact details are accurate so that we can provide booking information, updates and other important communications.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Prices for retreats, private experiences and additional services will be displayed on the website or otherwise communicated to you before your booking is confirmed.

Depending on the particular experience, payment may be required in full at the time of purchase or may be subject to a deposit or other agreed payment arrangement.

Any additional services purchased separately will be charged at the price communicated at the time of booking or purchase.

Prices, packages, inclusions and services may change from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively alter a confirmed booking unless agreed with you or otherwise permitted by law.

Any payment schedule, deposit requirement or other specific payment condition provided for a particular retreat or experience forms part of your booking terms.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

Optional services or experiences may be offered before or during a retreat.

Availability cannot always be guaranteed and may depend on scheduling, service-provider availability, suitability and the structure of the particular retreat.

An optional add-on is not considered confirmed merely because you have expressed interest in it.

Where payment is required, the add-on will be confirmed once the applicable arrangements have been agreed and any required payment has been received.

CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND REFUNDS

Cancellation, rescheduling, credit and refund conditions may vary according to the retreat, private experience or service being purchased.

Any specific cancellation requirements applying to your booking will be communicated on the relevant product page, during the booking process or in your booking confirmation.

Change-of-mind cancellations do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund unless the applicable booking conditions provide one.

Where a booking can be rescheduled, any rescheduling remains subject to availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where Australian Consumer Law applies, you may have rights to a refund, replacement service, cancellation, compensation or another remedy where a service fails to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.

CHANGES BY REBEL MAGICK

Occasionally it may be necessary for Rebel Magick to change aspects of a retreat or experience.

This may include reasonable changes to scheduling, activities, facilitators, service providers, accommodation arrangements, venues or other components where circumstances require it.

Where a significant change affects a confirmed booking, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with affected clients and provide an appropriate alternative where practicable.

If a material component of your booking cannot be provided, any remedy will be determined having regard to the circumstances, your booking conditions and any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

CONSENT AND PERSONAL BOUNDARIES

Rebel Magick places importance on consent, communication and personal boundaries.

Where an experience includes touch, massage, bodywork, embodiment, tantra, intimacy-related practices or other interactive work, participation must remain consensual.

You may communicate a boundary, decline an activity or withdraw consent from an activity at any time.

You are encouraged to communicate openly about your comfort, preferences and boundaries throughout your experience.

A decision not to participate in a particular activity will be respected.

Withdrawal from an individual activity does not necessarily create an entitlement to a refund for the overall retreat or experience where the remainder of the booked service remains available, subject always to your rights under applicable law.

NATURE OF THE SERVICES

Rebel Magick retreats, private experiences and additional services may relate to areas including relaxation, massage, tantra, intimacy, connection, embodiment, bodywork, energy work, movement, personal development, healing practices and related experiences.

The exact nature and scope of each service depends on the particular experience selected.

Descriptions are provided to help you understand the general nature of an offering. You are encouraged to ask questions before booking if you are uncertain whether a particular experience is suitable for you.

Unless expressly stated as being provided by an appropriately qualified health professional, information, retreats, experiences and services offered through Rebel Magick are not medical, psychological, psychiatric or other regulated healthcare advice.

They should not be treated as a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or advice from an appropriately qualified health professional.

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, you should seek appropriate professional advice.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SUITABILITY

You are responsible for deciding whether a retreat, private experience, service or activity is suitable for you.

You should provide information reasonably necessary for Rebel Magick or the relevant service provider to determine whether an experience is suitable for you where appropriate.

If you have an injury, physical limitation, medical concern, pregnancy, accessibility requirement or other circumstance that could materially affect your ability to participate, you should raise this before participating in any relevant physical activity or bodywork service.

Rebel Magick may recommend that you do not participate in a particular activity where there are reasonable concerns about suitability or safety.

NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Experiences involving personal development, relationships, intimacy, embodiment, connection, relaxation and related work are individual in nature.

Rebel Magick does not guarantee any particular personal, emotional, physical, relationship, spiritual or other outcome from participating in a retreat, experience or service.

Testimonials, reviews and descriptions of other people’s experiences are provided for general information and do not guarantee that another person will experience the same outcome.

ACCOMMODATION, VENUES AND THIRD-PARTY FACILITIES

Where accommodation, venues or other third-party facilities form part of a retreat or experience, additional reasonable rules or conditions imposed by the venue or accommodation provider may apply.

Participants are expected to treat accommodation, venues, furnishings, equipment and surrounding property with reasonable care.

You may be responsible for loss or damage deliberately or negligently caused by you, to the extent permitted by law.

Where a retreat includes third-party accommodation or facilities, Rebel Magick will take reasonable care when making arrangements but cannot guarantee circumstances outside its reasonable control.

PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward Rebel Magick, other participants, facilitators, service providers, venue staff and other people involved in an experience.

Behaviour involving harassment, intimidation, violence, deliberate boundary violations, unlawful conduct or serious disruption may result in a participant being asked to leave an activity, retreat or experience.

Where participation is ended because of serious misconduct, any refund or other remedy will depend upon the circumstances and applicable law.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure information published on the Rebel Magick website is accurate and current.

However, retreat dates, locations, availability, prices, service descriptions, inclusions and other details may change from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every part of the website will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, remove or change website content at any time.

PRIVACY

Personal information collected through Rebel Magick is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By submitting information through the website, making an enquiry or completing a booking, you acknowledge that your information may be used where reasonably necessary to process your booking, communicate with you and provide your selected services.

Where reasonably necessary to arrange or provide part of your retreat or experience, relevant information may also be shared with a service provider involved in delivering that component, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.

COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the text, branding, design, graphics, photographs, images, videos and other content appearing on the Rebel Magick website are owned by or licensed to Magick Brisbane, Rebel Magick, Rebel Glea or the relevant content owner.

Website content may be viewed for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or create derivative works from website content without the prior permission of the relevant copyright owner, except where permitted by law.

The names, branding and intellectual property associated with Rebel Magick and Rebel Glea must not be used in a manner that suggests endorsement, accreditation, partnership or affiliation without permission.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

Rebel Magick will not treat your attendance at a retreat or private experience as automatic consent for identifiable photographs or video of you to be used for promotional purposes.

Where photography or filming is proposed for promotional or commercial use, appropriate consent will be sought where required.

Participants must also respect the privacy of other guests and should not publish identifiable photographs, video or personal information about another participant without their permission.

ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE

You agree to use the Rebel Magick website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

use the website to harass, threaten or abuse another person;

submit deliberately false, misleading or fraudulent information;

interfere with the operation or security of the website;

attempt to gain unauthorised access to website systems or information;

use website content unlawfully or in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the website, booking systems or services where we reasonably believe they are being misused.

The Rebel Magick website may contain links to Rebel Glea’s website, accommodation providers, venues, service providers, social media platforms or other external websites.

External websites are operated independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies and practices.

Magick Brisbane and Rebel Magick are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of independently operated third-party websites.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magick Brisbane and Rebel Magick are not liable for loss arising solely from circumstances outside their reasonable control or from reliance upon general website information where that information was not provided as professional advice.

Where a specialised service is supplied by an independent professional or service provider, that provider remains responsible for the professional service they personally provide, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian legislation.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Where Rebel Magick, Magick Brisbane or Rebel Glea supplies services to a consumer, those services may come with statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

These rights operate independently of any additional cancellation, refund, rescheduling or credit policy offered by Rebel Magick and cannot simply be removed by a “no refunds” clause.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any right or remedy available to you where it would be unlawful to do so.

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing an obligation where that failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include natural disasters, bushfires, flooding, severe weather, illness, venue closures, telecommunications failures, government restrictions, transport disruption or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

Where these circumstances affect a confirmed retreat or experience, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with affected clients and make alternative arrangements where practicable.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include rescheduling, changing part of an itinerary, providing an alternative arrangement, issuing a credit or providing another remedy required by law.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply where relevant.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to Rebel Magick, our retreats, experiences, services, booking processes or applicable law.

The current version will be published on the Rebel Magick website.

Your continued use of the website after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms as they relate to future use of the website.

Terms applying to an existing confirmed booking will not be retrospectively changed in a way that removes rights you already have under that booking or applicable law.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed or modified to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

NO WAIVER

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia that apply there.

Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from exercising any rights they may have under applicable Australian consumer legislation.
